The Scholarship Fund
The Allen Family Scholarship was
founded upon a single principle: no Allen descendant should ever be denied access
to a college education.
We proudly count among our number
a prime minister, a city commissioner, members of the clergy, attorneys,
doctors and other medical practitioners, entrepreneurs, educators,
administrators, designers and other professionals. We have a great
deal to be proud of, for our family is truly blessed.
Higher education is key to ensuring the
prosperity of our family, enabling Allens across the world to continue to travel the path
of great achievement. When one of us succeeds, we all succeed.
Preparing Allens to compete
academically and
excel in the global marketplace is the responsibility of each and every one of
us. The scholarship committee cannot do so alone. If you are in
search of a way to contribute to the continuing success of our family,
consider making a donation to the Allen Family Scholarship Fund.
The scholarship committee is
embarking on an ambitious and aggressive donor drive to build the
scholarship fund and provide greater financial assistance to Allens as they
pursue an education. A not-for-profit corporation will be established
and all donations will be tax deductible. Many thanks to Calvin Allen
for his assistance in this endeavor.
Recent donations include a $1,000
donation from the Key West Allen Family Reunion Committee and a $500
donation from Alfred and Patricia Allen of Key West.
To contribute to the Allen
Family Scholarship Fund, send your donations to P.O. Box 1704, Key West, FL
33041. No amount is too large or too small.
